Books to Read on President’s Day

Below are some great choices when chooses which books to read on Presidents’ Day!

The first few are ones we personally checked out from the library to read on this Presidents’ Day! The last couple are great options you may be able to find at your local library or order online through the links provided!

Madam President was a cute little picture book that showed a little girl pretending to be a president for a day, it will encourage all kids to follow their dreams.

A Spy in the White House and all of the other Capital Mystery first reader novels make a great Presidents Day read for slightly older kids.

George Washington and the Generals Dog was a cute and true story about how George Washington returned General Howes dog to him when the dog was lost despite them being enemies.

Meet George Washington and all the other president additions are great little story books that are simple and age appropriate but give lots of facts!
